The South Bedford Islamic Cultural Centre & Masjid primarily serves as a spiritual hub for Muslims both far and near. Located in the South of Bedford Town, home to many diverse ethnic communities and faiths.

The South Bedford Masjid plays a key role in bridging communities, strengthening inter faith understanding and seeks to present Islam to the wider society.

The South Bedford Masjid is a community based, independent and non-profit organisation funded by contributions from members of our community. Running a charity of this size and complexity requires the dedication and support of a great number of people.

We have the facility to offer the five daily prayers in congregation at the Masjid. So please try to attend and invite others also.

Daily Quotes Hadith 10 - Narrated Abu Huraira: Sahih al-Bukhari 1231: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the call for prayer is made, Satan takes to his heels passing wind so that he may not hear the Adhan and when the call is finished he comes back, and when the Iqama is pronounced, Satan again takes to his heels, and when the Iqama is finished he comes back again and tries to interfere with the person and his thoughts and say, "Remember this and that (which he has not thought of before the prayer)", till the praying person forgets how much he has prayed. If anyone of you does not remember whether he has offered three or four rak`at then he should perform two prostrations of Sahu while sitting.
