Allah says:
And donate from what We have provided for you before death comes to one of you, and you cry, “My Lord! If only You delayed me for a short while, I would give in charity and be one of the righteous.” (Qur’an, 63:10)
Our Prophet ﷺ said:
“Charity does not decrease wealth.”
“Charity erases sins as water extinguishes fire.”
“Give charity without delay, for it prevents misfortunes.”
“A charity is due for every joint in each person on every day the sun comes up: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity; a good word is a charity; and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity.”
